ELECTROLUX Gas Boiler Error Codes

Error E1 - There is no gas flow to the device. The gas pressure is lowered. Malfunction of the ignition system. The device has problems with electronics. Check the gas cock on the lowering. Make sure that there is no air in the gas pipeline. Monitor the gas pressure in front of the boiler. Check the electrical supply to the mains. Fault, dirty or incorrectly installed ignition / ionization electrode. Damaged gas valve. The electronic control board is defective.

 

Error E2 - The thermostat is triggered by the heat exchanger overheating. The burner is off, the circulation pump continues to operate. After fixing the problem, you need to restart manually. Check the shut-off valves, the sensor for the heat exchanger overheating and its electrical circuit. Also check the circulation of the coolant through the primary heat exchanger. Probably, the heat exchanger, the blockage of filters of the heating circuit, the malfunction of the pump or the heating system are inflated were hammered by a scum.

 

Error E3 (turbocharged models of Electrolux boilers) - Faults with a smoke exhaust fan. Incorrect function of the smoke pressure switch. Check fan, smoke pressure switch, chimney for tapering or exceeding the maximum length of pipes that remove smoke (coaxial or separate). Examine the venturi device. Fusion or blockage probably occurred. Check electrical connections and wires.

 

Error E3 (Atmo models) - Trigger sensor triggered. The operating temperature is 75 °C. Temperature of automatic return 55°C. Check the chimney, perhaps its narrowing or there is no initial (accelerating) vertical section (no less than 2 chimney diameters). Make sure that the draft is present in the chimney. Check the traction sensor, electrical connections and wires.


Error E4 - The pressure in the heating system is low or the pressure sensor is disconnected. Malfunction of the circulation pump. Check the pressure in the heating system and, if necessary, energize. Check the minimum pressure sensor. Inspect the electrical connections and wiring. Check the functionality of the circulation pump.

 

Error E6 - The NTC sensor of the NTC system is faulty. Check the NTC sensor for hot water supply, as well as electrical connections and wires.

 

Error E7 - Malfunction of the NTC sensor of the heating system. Check the NTC sensor of the heating system, as well as the electrical connections and wires.

 

Error E9 - The anti-freeze system has started. In the heating circuit of the Electrolux boiler, the temperature dropped to + 2°C. Perform the NTC sensor check, the instrument automation, the heating system for freezing the circuit. It is recommended to raise the temperature of the boiler room or the temperature sensor to + 5°C. If the temperature rises above + 2°C, the unit will start automatically.
