Buderus Gas Boiler

Buderus Brand History

Some Buderus Gas Boiler Service Manuals PDF are above the page.

The German company Buderus dates back to 1731 as a plant for the casting of cast iron. At the end of the 19th century the plant started production of sectional cast iron boilers, the design of which has not undergone significant fundamental changes to this day. During the 20th century Buderus constantly expanded the range of products and became one of the largest European manufacturers of heating equipment. In 2003, Buderus was acquired by the Bosch Group, after which, by merging Buderus and the Bosch Thermal Technology Division, a new company, BBT Thermotechnik GmbH, was established.

Buderus is the authoritative and oldest global manufacturer of heating equipment. The company was founded by Johann Wilhelm Buderus in 1731 as a blast furnace plant for the production of cast iron and castings, including elements for furnaces and hearths. Thus, for 277 years Buderus produces cast iron for its boilers exclusively in its factories using a special patented technology. It is quite natural that, having so significant experience, the concern produces the highest quality boilers. Other components of success are constant innovation and reliable service and information support. Buderus was the first in the field of heating technology to open the Information Center (Lollar, Germany). This training center primarily serves to enhance the skills of owners and employees of specialized heating companies, as well as a wider range of people, such as designers and chimney sweeps.

Types of equipment supplied by the company:

- all types of boiler equipment, running on gas, liquid or solid fuel;

- burners on gas and liquid fuels,

- automatic control and monitoring systems for any heating and DHW schemes;

- boilers;

- heat pumps;

- steel radiators for heating;

- components and accessories for heating systems;

- solar collectors and heaters;

- block combined thermal power plants.

Last year Buderus turned 275 years old, and all this time it is engaged in the production of heating equipment. In addition, Buderus is one of the few companies remaining on the European continent that are engaged in production on the territory of their country. It's no secret that most industrial manufacturers in Europe today have brought the main production capacity beyond their countries. Buderus continues to cast sections for its cast iron boilers in Germany. This allows the company to fully claim the real German quality of its products.
