1

Protection from X-rays

The voltage on the aqua-tube of the kinescope is overstated (only for models supplied in the USA)

Horizontal line protection

The signals ENT_o, EHT_info are active. The sync pulses from the synchronization unit do not pass or are missing. Defective transistors 7402, 7401, 7403, 7404 or elements that provide their mode

Protection of vertical scanning

V_guard mode is active. The TDA8359 / TDA9302 is defective. No voltage ± 13V

Stereo decoder error

The data exchange between the microprocessor and the stereo decoder 7831 via the I2C bus is broken. The stereo decoder is defective, or the bus signals do not reach it.

Reset signal error. Power protection + 8V

Error signal Reset to turn on the power. Overload on the circuit + 8V

General I2C bus error

The SCL or SDA bus is closed to a common wire. The SCL and SDA bus are closed. Breakage of load resistors of the bus (microprocessor has open collector outputs).

Overload protection

Active signal Power Down. Malfunction in the circuit 4-12 V. Verify the serviceability of UMZH 7901 (7902), transistor 7561.

Protection when correcting a raster (E / W)

Only for widescreen TVs. Verify the integrity of the transistor 7606 (A7) and its external elements.

EEPROM error

The communication on the I2C bus between the EEPROM and the microprocessor is broken. With this fault, an internal EEPROM error can occur.

Tuner error when working with I2C bus

The tuner 1000 is defective. The bus signals do not reach the tuner.

 

There is no supply voltage on the tuner.

Black level protection

The black level is not set. Check the serviceability of video amplifiers on the kinescope board and kinescope.
