DeLonghi Brand History

The company DeLonghi began its existence from the distant 1902. Initially, it was a small shop in which masters of repair of wood heaters could buy everything they needed. Because the trade was moving well, it was decided to open a workshop at the shop, to make spare parts for the heaters. And even, despite the fact that over time gas heaters replaced wooden, the company was able to keep its position. The management immediately took the necessary measures and the company began to produce parts for gas heaters, and eventually for electrical, which gained great popularity in Italy.

 

For its further development and growth, DeLonghi began accepting orders for the development of new technologies from other companies. In addition, DeLonghi succeeded in this, because In the near future, its customers have become the world's most famous brands.

 

In 1970, the company's CEO becomes Giuseppe DeLonghi. He managed to strengthen the company's capacity in research and development, and at the same time to keep the direction for the production of modern new technologies. Over time, he realized that his company plays the role of only the creator and supplier of ideas and technologies, and makes a decision to buy factories that produce small household appliances and heaters. And already in 1975 for the first time on the market appears products under the trade name DeLonghi. They were electric radiators, which sold very well, because were very convenient to handle and reliable. And in 1985, Giuseppe DeLonghi started the production of district heating radiators.


Further, an important stage in the development of DeLonghi is the opening in 1992 of a production line for the creation of air conditioning systems. In 1995, the positions of this brand, as a manufacturer of air conditioning technology, were strengthened due to the acquisition of Clima Veneta.

 

But, despite all sorts of changes, DeLonghi's course to create new technologies remains unchanged. The products of this brand have found their home appliance consumer to improve the microclimate not only in the Italian market, but also abroad.

 

Due to the territorial increase in the sales market, DeLonghi expands its product range, acquiring the Ariete and Kenwood brands.
